After losing star WRs Pierre Garcon (San Francisco) and DeSean Jackson (Tampa Bay) to free agency, Washington decided to add more depth to their to receiving corp by signing Former Brown Terrelle Pryor to a one year deal and today’s addition in Brian Quick.
Brian Quick is a five year vet who spent most of his career with St Louis/ Los Angeles. The Appalachian State standout and former 2nd round pick hasn’t found his groove since entering the league in 2012. Quick has played with 6 QBs during his tenure with the Rams (Kellen Clemens, Austin Davis, Shaun Hill, Nick Foles, Case Keenum and Sam Bradford) which ended in poor results. But last season he posted career high numbers in each major category.
- 41 receptions
- 79 targets
- 564 yards
- 3 TDs
- 13.8 YAC
Quick is big body WR who stands at 6’3 and could be a new toy for Jay Gruden to use in his offense. Quick joins a already deep WR/TE corp with Josh Doctson, Jamison Crowder, Terrelle Pryor, Maurice Harris, Jordan Reed, and Vernon Davis. This is also the first time Quick is playing with a Pro Bowl QB in Kirk Cousins who has put up major stats last season with this corp. Quick is already entering the prime of his career and might be a sneaky weapon for Washington in 2017, Keep him on the lookout! 👀 👀 👀
